chevrolet social posts
at chevy social, i worked on some pretty cool projects. product reveals/launches, brand partnerships, accessibility, c-suite content, paid social content… the list goes on and on. though many were strictly following what clients wanted and the way they wanted them, there were a handful of projects i worked on that lit something in me and made me feel like i just had a part in something really special. the one pillar that existed amongst them all: design.
social media trends: lofi music
music is a universal language, and the chevrolet family of suvs strives to serve all demographics. lofi music was having a moment and we wanted to lean into spotify as a platform. we worked with a cgi animation artist and created this lofi-esque video to announce the spotify playlist we created for chill roadtrip vibes, while also bringing awareness to chevy’s spotify account.
clients wanted to focus on promoting the chevy equinox in an attempt to sellout 2023 models before the 2024 models became available to the market. we wanted to create an asmr video using one of our nameplates since everything we’ve created thus far felt too overly produced for social, and because everyone else was doing it too. jumping on the chance to promote the equinox, we worked with clients to nail down a story that resonated with the equinox audience. i also played the role of the hand model.
social media trends: asmr
chevy likes to take part in holidays on social media. but being an automotive brand, it can be hard to find ways to that feel authentic to the brand and the holiday itself. chevy was in the process of launching the family of evs, so electric vehicles were a major content pillar when and where it made sense. taking these two things into consideration, we wanted to create something fun and lighthearted, yet spirited.
social media trends: diy crafts
i managed chevy’s brand partnerships, including some iconic household names such as domino’s. in order to make these kinds of post come to life, it requires wearing many hats, from acting as the chevy social point-of-contact to making sure partnered content adheres to chevy’s brand guidelines.
brand partnerships: domino’s
chevy’s heritage center is one of the partners i worked closely with. many brand partners, such as lego, wanted to collaborate with chevy as a way to target legacy vehicle owners and fanatics. this post, marketing this detailed vintage corvette lego, also served as the first time we had ever collaboratively posted on instagram with another brand, reaching both audiences for the first time, together.
